- Provide and maintain the ComplyCam platform
- Process and store inspection photos and compliance records
- Send service-related communications
- Improve our AI features and user experience
- Detect and prevent abuse or unauthorized access
3. Data Storage & Security
All data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). Photos and inspection records are stored with tamper-evident timestamps. We follow encryption, access control, and audit logging best practices for data protection.
We retain inspection records as long as your account is active, plus a retention period as defined in your service agreement (default 7 years for compliance records).
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with trusted sub-processors (cloud hosting, email delivery) who are contractually bound to protect your data. We may disclose data if required by law.
